Eleanor L. Grimm (nee Costanzo), 92, of Carlstadt, died on Friday, November 15, 2019. Eleanor was born and raised in Lyndhurst. She is predeceased by her beloved son, Glenn Settembrino, in 1987 and her loving husband, Rudolph Grimm in 1989. Eleanor is the loving mother of Alan Settembrino of Oradell, Keith Settembrino and his wife Debra of Great Meadows, Kim Orefice of Toms River, and Jill Iverson of North Brunswick. She is further survived by her cherished grandchildren, Lauren and her husband Sean Hull, Briana and her husband Nick Venuti, Christopher and his wife Jennifer Orefice, Olivia Iverson, Kaity and her husband Bill Morris, Glenn Settembrino, Daniel Iverson, Renee Orefice, Alissa Settembrino, and her 5 great grandchildren, Nathan, Brody, Ellie, Chloe, and Eliana.

Eleanor graduated from Lyndhurst High School in 1944. She was an active participant in planning the 1944 class reunions throughout the years. Eleanor was also a member of the Kip Center in Rutherford, the B&B Entertainment Dance Troupe in Lyndhurst, and the Best Foot Forward Dance Troupe of East Rutherford. She loved music and enjoyed dancing in her Tap and Jazz classes. Eleanor often entertained at senior centers, hospitals, and veterans' homes for many years. She also enjoyed putting together puzzles, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.

Eleanor will be best remembered for her fondness of elephants and her sharp sense of humor.

Her burial will be held on Monday, November 18, 2019 in Hillside Cemetery, 742 Rutherford Avenue, Lyndhurst at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959, www.stjude.org, 1-800-478-5833.
